Maximum number of replies for a new user

I got a message saying “You have reached the maximum number of replies a new member can make. Wait 13hs”.
Is this a Discourse thing or something specific to the IF forum?

Is because of this, it’s not a Discourse error. And btw, you’re a basic user, not new.

For a new user this rule is so the new user can just see how everything works, before he/she posts too many posts. Also, for duplicate accounts, some people will spam.
