“The essential skills for flying remain almost entirely unchanged since the time of Lilienthal. Maintain positive control of the airframe at all times, know where you are, and be prepared for what might come next”!

@DeerCrusher… Glad you asked;
Max is IF’s “Sea Daddy”! (In the Naval Service (Marines) Sea Daddies are “Old Salts/Crow” who’ve been there and done that!, In most cases before most members where a gleam in their Dad’s Eye, which includes you young man!)

@Marc… @Jerseyant… MaxSez. The aircraft is a Marine OV-10A (Bronco) out of the VMO-1 Det from the AirGroup at MCAS Fatima (ROTM) in Okinawa in the early 70’s. We where inbound to OsanAFB (RKSO) in SKorea for exercise & Liberty of course. The Bronk was a warhorse twin, a stable gun/rocket/bomb platform used for observation/Recce and CAS. A dream to Fly, a real aerobatic lady twin. (Upgraded Bronks with sensors are still in service. (The German AF has the latest version in service & others see wiki)
