Potentially sad end to a test-bed 787. I’m not sure if its been scrapped yet but it was heading for it!

The Boeing 737 will be always my favorite plane. It’s the flagship of Copa Airlines’ fleet.

Why are they scrapping it?

They sold some of the others as BBJs. This one was actually destined for Korean Air but they were able to pick up a newer air frame. The price to restore LN5 would have almost cost as much as a new airframe, but at this moment Transaero cut their operations and Korean Air was able to pick up Transaero’s LN11.

This one could have been a “terrible teen” they were the firsts ones Boeing made and were heavier than they should have been, the newer ones are lighter so airlines would prefer them as it uses less fuel etc
