The Trent 1000 TEN was being tested for ETOPS and that engine is one of the latest engines out there, being first run in 2014. So you basically have one of the best engines for fuel burn available out there running a testing aircraft, fully filled with fuel, a skeleton crew and some test operators. You are going to get the range out of it.
