while I see your point there, its not that easy… If they did the same event using the 747 and the 767, I’d bet that there would be similar amounts of votes is 24h…
however, this was a race between the A320neo and the 737max 8 to decide which Aurframe comes to the sim prior to the other one… I’m sure the Devs have noticed the popularity of other rework requests and they will for sure make their way into the sim eventually at some point in the future
Honestly I am gonna give Air India 747 what he has deserved for all these years
Eh Em intercepting it
The MAX has the most votes on the features request category, so it was expected for the MAX to win.
Your points are surely right, but you can’t compare a poll that has been done officially and a votation done by simple members here on IFC. The post has been there and ignored for a long time, and it doesn’t work like that “in a community”.
I still believe that would be better to make greater what we already have (787,767, A340) instead of adding more aircraft. (Just a point of view)
We already got enough wide bodies. Even a rework or new aircraft requires a new model.
Even if you compare topics/polls started by members, the 737 Max one has more. Plus I have explained why they might have chosen the 737 Max and A320neo, primarily because it’s so much smaller and quicker to make. I’m sure after all the complaining when the A380 was being re-worked, the devs would think 10 times before reworking bigger aircraft.
Up to my point what they did was right. Even though the polls for the MAX was greater than the neo in the polls, they would go and use the existing -800 model and redesign it for the MAX 8.
Such truth
I’m thinking the normal 737-800 will still be there since the MAX 8 is almost done
Are you suggesting that they would remove the -800 cause the max is coming? My bad if that’s not what u mean
They used the current 737-800 model in Infinite Flight to make the Max 8. The 737-800 ain’t going anywhere
Yeah obviously lol, 737-800 still being used by airlines worldwide, the 737MAX is just the more upgraded modern predecessor to the NGs.
They wont remove the -800 once the MAX 8 is released, that would be dumb.
Exactly (10 characters)
Nooooo that’s not what I mean. The -800 would still be there and the Max 8 would be coming so then we have a option of the 737-800 and the MAX 8 too
They’ll be separate aircraft, the -700, -800, -900 are separate aircraft
this is why i see this page at the top
Liveries that I think that will come to the MAX:
- Norwegian
- United
- Ryanair
- South West
- Fly Dubai
