It’s to help ensure everyone’s awake for landing, irritating to us trying to get some cool shots but in the off chance something goes south everyone’s awake and aware

Fair enough. Normally cabin crew dim the lights for landing no matter what time but that’s a good reason

Yeah they’re supposed to have them off on landing to have your eyes adjusted to the dark, also in the event something goes wrong.

The FAs may also take time during the lights on to ensure the cabin is ready for landing so that can take a few minutes

in delays, yes, they suck. i’m landings and snack, they are pretty good.

while united on the other hand….

my dad flew in a E145 from ORF to IAD and he said the landing was so hard and they also bounced. but i only rember 2 smooth landing s on united

I had one of my smoothest landings on united it was so smooth that I did
Know we were on the ground until the reversers kicked in
