✅ Good HS and take-off clearance.
❌ No traffic direction was given to me.
❌ No need for enter left base.
❌ Late clearance.
❌ No need for “enter straight in”: I’m in the pattern.
Basically, pattern work is at the pilots discretion- The pattern entries are for planes entering the pattern.

I understand everything except the traffic direction. What is that?
Well, I could’ve gone either left or right. You need to specify make left traffic or right traffic, because otherwise I don’t know which side I should make my pattern on.
Ok. I got it. So basically just give them a certain traffic pattern? Left or right
