MAR4 2030Z - RetroLAX Flyout | A 2000s Aviation Nostalgia Trip

Welcome to the RetroLAX Flyout! Many people on the IFC have been doing events that involve retro aircraft and airlines from years past. Well I’ve decided to do my own at probably the most well known airport on the planet, Los Angeles International Airport. We’ll be flashing back to the 2000s on this one. I’ve chosen the year 2006. Right in the middle of the decade. Besides a few airlines, most if not all of the airlines and routes are from a Wikipedia article dated February 1, 2006. There are tons of gates so I don’t anticipate all gates to be filled but I would like a good amount of people to show up! There also won’t be gate assignments and you will choose a route that I provide.

Rules

  1. I am not responsible for any violations you may receive if you attend.
  2. Arrive about 10-15 minutes prior to the start of event
  3. If ATC is present, try and follow all their instructions given to you
  4. Use Unicom if ATC does not show up
  5. This will be on Expert Server so fly as professionally as possible
  6. Have fun!

One Asterisk Means: Aircraft have been substituted for something that is currently in Infinite Flight. The aircraft the airline operated aren’t in the game
Two Asterisks Mean: Airlines like Corsair, Frontier JetExpress, Alitalia, Virgin Australia, Allegiant, Volaris, and Virgin America didn’t operate in 2006, they operated some time within 2000-2010

Bumping event

Can have fedex cargo apron gate 8 with the DC 10 heading to MEM?

(If that is ok since those gates are not on the list)

Do you have a passenger route in mind? If not I can put you down but due to the size of LAX I didn’t add cargo

I would like to fly out from the cargo gates but it is ok if I need to fly passenger

Yeah sorry I prefer you fly out of the passenger gates. Like I said it’s just because of the size of LAX
