I just find it quite annoying when i must repeatedly zoom back in to the gate selection map to select a gate at a specific terminal of any given large airport, where i had just tried to spawn in, and it turned out to be occupied. As soon as i select the ok button, the map zooms out of where i had it so that the ENTIRE airfield is visible. I find it quite unnecessary, especially at very large airports when you need to zoom in quite a bit, and when its busy too, because this will happen multiple times in a row for me to find a gate at a specific terminal and also especially with live aircraft coming and taking up space everywhere now.
This sounds more like a bug to fix than a feature to request. 
I’ve done a brief search and couldn’t find any similar post, so worth keeping this up.

Does the zoom out happen abruptly? Might be useful to share a recording of how it happens.
It just puts u zoomed out a bit automatically I believe
