This is a feature I have been wanting since I started controlling on IF…
The ability for a radar controller to “sketch” on the map, plotting routes, altitude waypoints, perhaps SID/STAR routings, holding points etc… The possibilities are endless!

I like the idea! Imagine if you could even import real words charts in IF to make it more realistic and easier to control :)

This request has my vote. I’d love to see this implemented for Global. It would allow radar controllers to sketch real-life SIDs or STARs, which would make flying much more realistic.
This is timeless. Would still love to see it. Would be a major help to radar controllers!!
I try to fly/vector that exact OCN transition approach through LCOVE and STPHN, but right now the volume is too crazy. But when the g-word shows itself, I’d love to follow STARs/SIDs.

It’d be great if pilots could also use it to plan holding patterns, go around procedures and more. Until an FMC is implemented, this would be really, really handy. Voted!
but to be honest… how do we know that controllers wont draw d!cks and stuff… Remember 3/4ths of our community is -12

This is possibly something that could only be implemented on the Expert Server, making it exclusive to the IFATC. However, this could be bad if users on TS1 would want to practice using it.
and I feel like ATC’s on practice server should be using it for well… Practice!
But that may be something that the devs should consider (This will probably be added)

Block it for TS1 Controllers, but all pilots on all servers (and Solo) can have a private version of it for their eyes only. yes, I did watch James Bond today ;)
What would it matter? It would only be visible to themselves… :)
Remember: IFATCs are 14+ and should be mature enough not to do that.
