@AirChina196, I have a Logitech extreme 3D pro, the one thing that just doesn’t work for me is my joystick has a hat switch, and the app won’t let me assign actions to the four buttons on the hat switch. Is there a way I can assign the buttons on the infinite flight app itself and not have to on the Map Connect app?

No, you have to assign the buttons on the Map Connect app.

This problem is due to the builtin APIs in Nodejs. Can you check if Map Connect recognizes the hat switch as an axis? Or just did not recognize it?

Nvm the hat switch does work, but only for the axes. I would like to assign the hat switch buttons to Flaps and trim, but it just won’t let me do that.

@AirChina196 I need help quick! Map connect simply won’t connect to my device. API is on, they are both on the same Wi-Fi network, but they just won’t connect. I’ve already tried to un-install then install it again, but no luck.

Same for me, I even tried multiple Internet connections.

It connects, but nothing works. Map Connect is getting an error code.

So it actually did connect successfully right now, but this has happened before. Yesterday I was flying from KSEA to EGGL, the controller connected when I was taking off but during landing, it would connect. At first it showed the error code, but then it was just trying to connect forever. I’ll let you know if the issue comes up again.

Are there any problems in using the app with the new update of IF?

Yeah it’s not working for me either at all after the update and theres a new error code. Regret updating so quickly 😓

Error: connect ECONNREFUSED
