Map Connect not connecting

Hi everyone, I really want to use a thrustmaster for infinite flight and some time ago I found 2 apps to do it. The first one was Infinite Flight Connect but now is no longer supported, the other one is Map Connect. Around 2 months ago I downloaded it and it was correctiliy working. Now unfortunately, idk why but it don’t want to connect (I downloaded Map Connect V1.1.1) to IF. I’ve Infinite Flight Connect enabled and I run Map Connect (on Windows) on the same wifi as IF(on iOS). I found some posts saying that I need Map Connect V2 but on github (the only place where you can download it) the latest version is 1.1.1. Does anybody know what’s going on? Is there any other method to use a thrustmaster on iOS?

It is the same link that me! 😂😂

Thank you, anyways I already visited that page but I couldn’t find anything helpful about Map Connect not connecting. I saw a video on yt wich made me download Map Connect but now, as you know is no longer working. I texted the creator and he said that I need Map Connect V2 but if I open github this is what it looks like. Maybe Map Connect V2 is avaiable but only in MacOs

If anyone uses map connect V2 on windows can please send me the file or where he downloaded it?

Thank you!

Hi Gabry,

v1.1.1 belongs to Map Connect V2. V2 is just a part of the name. If it doesn’t connect, you may try reinstall the app and see if it works.

Ok thank you!

Oh, In my house I use wifi extenders, and I’m connected to one of them but the wifi is the same. Is this maybe the issue?

I tried to reinstall both apps but nothing changes. Anyways I noticed a strange thing: when I go to Infinite Flight settings, idk why but also if I’m not connected to Map Connect it shows the ‘Use Network Joystick’ button and if I click on ‘Show Devices’ button it also show a joystick (just be sure, I’m not connected to Map Connect!). This thing happens also on my (Android) phone but I’ve never ever connected it to Map Connect!

Click on each axis in infinite flight then move your joystick and it should recognize.

For example click pitch and push your joystick forward and it should pick it up

Yeah I now, but the joystick isn’t connected
