Map Connect and WiFi Connection

Hey there, quick question for those users who are all about joysticks but live in the lovely world of Apple and therefore nothing works perfectly :joy:

Basically, I’m in a somewhat unique situation where I don’t have access to solid WiFi (college campus :roll_eyes:), but my Data works fine. Does Map Connect need a constant WiFi connection to the computer to work? Or does it just need one to get started and then everything else is wired or running through Bluetooth? Thanks in advance!

I do believe a constant Wi-Fi connection is required. Have you tried using a hotspot off your phone?

I would, but that costs too much. However, unlimited data isn’t that expensive. Darn, well, maybe I’ll just consider getting a Samsung or something.
