ENGLAND TO MOROCCO

TUI is the airline name, flight BY668 is the game. We departed Manchester Airport on this blustery, cloudy, stormy day in the UK bound for Morocco. No passengers onboard today, no luggage and no food or cabin crew. Just man and machine cruising out of the UK, over the English Channel, over the south westerly tip of France through the Bay of Biscay on through Spain, Portugal and into Morocco.

Flying over land and water from coast to coast with the app I love the most - Infinite Flight. Keeping it real, the step climb to 37,000 on this little workhorse saw strong westerly winds all the way but those well built 11 year old CFM International CFM56-7B27 engines held their own as we negotiated a fairly busy airspace all the way with quite a few other planes about the place.

Preparing for a potentially windy landing, the full length of the approach cone was used to keep last minute banking at a minimum, straight as possible and a quick refresh of the go-around procedure on the way, just in case.

Luckily, no go around was needed and weather at Marrakesh airport was very mild with a small 3 knot headwind was a bit of added stability as well.

A thoroughly enjoyable flight!

Departure: EGCC (Manchester Airport, Manchester, UK)
Arrival: GMMX (Marrakesh Menara Airport, Marrakesh-safi, Morocco).
Flight time: 3 hours 21 minutes.
Server: Expert.

Notes: As always, no hard editing was done to the photos, just some personal preference slight changes to the light and contrast and working with what is available – nothing fake added or taken away.

Good times.

Stunning scenery captures, quite refreshing actually as we tend to focus on what we are flying rather than whats passing below us 😄

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you both @CO99 and @JulianB – it’s a great way of exploring the way the real scenery shifts and changes so quickly in as little as a 3 hour flight!
