Been there done that.
I’ve been on two before in Yokosuka. I’ve been on the kitty hawk and the GW. Whenever they go out to sea, half of the base is away. Whenever they come back they still would have the planes on the deck and you can see all the different kinds of planes and all the colorful CAG birds. Behind my school there was a helipad and all the helos would practice landing.
