Mac computer

Hi,

I would’ve thought that IF would be available on Mac, not just IOs. Isn’t it the same thing?

Anyone knows why not, and if/when it might be made available?

Thanks

Hello!

Even though Mac is an apple device, Infinite Flight is only compatible on Mobile and Tablet devices.

You can find a full list of the compatible devices here:

Also an Iphone and Mac computer don’t have the same operating system, so they aren’t the same.

Hope this answered your question!

Apple’s OSx on Mac and iOS on mobile platform are two very different systems.
IF is very much a mobile flight sim. That’s the cool part: no spectacular hardware needed! :-)

I’m pretty sure I remember Laura somewhere saying IF on Mac/Pc is highly unlikely to eventuate. Probably due to the complete overhaul and redesign of the coding and software. Also the market for flight simulators is pretty saturated on Mac and PC tho it would be cool :)

Thanks, all. All of that makes sense

To say it this way, no. On the other hand, I think that you can mirror it from your phone or tablet, onto the Mac screen. I hope this helps!
