The Luftwaffe is the German Air Force, the aerial warfare branch of the Bundeswehr, the armed forces in Germany. The Luftwaffe was founded in 1956 during the era of the Cold War.
The Aircraft
This A321neo is one of two for the Luftwaffe, bearing the registration 15+10, and the serial 10613. It is the first one delivered to the Luftwaffe, as well as being the first A21N to be made for military use. This aircraft specifically is the LR version, a version of the A321neo that has extra fuel tanks for longer range.
This aircraft’s purpose is for troop and government transport, as well as being able to be fitted with a cabin for aeromedical missions. It can seat 136-163 passengers depending on the cabin layout.
Why should this be added?
It would definitely be a unique livery for the simulator and would allow for more military activities in the game as it would give more variety and choice to players interested in the military.

This is so versatile! Recently it flew from Germany to Mali non-stop, while shortly after it was used to fly domestically in Germany and then to the Middle East. As it’s an LR and can be configured in low density or normal configuration it can fly all types of missions, including medevac
The Luftwaffe A21N is definitely one of my favorites! Even being from the ‘States, I really do wish that there were more countries represented other than the United States.
I agree. At least this Iomega is also used for medieval and flying soldiers to warzones, so for military flying this would be as good as it gets in the A321neo
Just now, for example, even though that’s not necessarily a great reason, this aircraft was utilized to evacuate German embassy personell from the Libanon. The Luftwaffe has two such NEOs, 15+10 and 15+11.
