So, I recently turned 23 and officially passed into unc status. As a reward, Lufthansa decided to send me their recently-returned-to-service centennial A380 not once, not twice, but THREE times in a row. While the scheduling of this flight means that it consistently leaves just after sunset, I didn’t spend the entire first year of my spotting career shooting in nothing but clouds, rain, and snow just to be scared off by some lack of light.
At least you got that, SAS switched the CPH-ATL route from an A330 to an A350 2 days before i went to Atlanta for my birthday so I had no chance of spotting the 80 years livery and Lufthansa still hasn’t sent the 100 years 787 here at all yet
