The MD-11 is a very robust plane, still survives with Fedex and UPS and other airlines, I used to see this plane here in Panama when KLM used to operate them, now the AMS-PTY route is handled in the Boeing 777

Probably a ceremonial flight? Retirement? Something like that.
It’s a cargo flight, searched LH’s website for a flight under that Callsign and nothing came up, also checked FR24 and it said it was a cargo flight.

Still remember, lots of airlines fly it regularly! They are cargo flights though!

Says they operate 14 MD-11F aircraft.
