Awesome. I just signed off, and this is my only real feedback:

  • Your correction was superb. You taught me something I didn’t know and I respect that!
  • Maybe next time a taxi routing would be appreciated. It can quickly get confusing if an airport is busy and everybody is just taxiing at their discretion
  • Choosing the 11 runway pair for arrivals and departures seems a little strange, considering both were roughly equal in terms of crosswind and the 29 pair has an ILS runway whereas the 11 pair only has a LOC runway. I appreciate that you let me use 29R for takeoff and landing though.

Thanks for the flight! I was N76VT in the C208. Nice job on most commands. Only issues were as follows:

  • transition altitude should have been 3000 which is calculated as the AAL plus 2500 then rounded up to nearest 500 feet.
  • you got a bit flustered when I reported inbound for landing full stop. A simple Roger was all that was needed since I was already cleared for the option which covers T/G or full stop.

You did good, glad to see you understand the basic concepts of ATC, you seem to understand the sequencing, pattern entry but you still got to improve on key aspects of these.

When I called inbound after transition, I should’ve gotten my sequence together with the pattern entry “Requin 02 super, enter left downwind runway 11R, number 2 traffic to follow is on ….

Remember only one pattern entry is needed once aircraft calls inbound or changes runway

I got a wrong sequence here, you said traffic to follow was on left downwind when they were on the right downwind. I get the confusion you may have had, right/left downwind means airport is on either side of aircraft . For example in this case, airport is on the right so correct sequence would be, number 2 traffic to follow is on right downwind. Either way you wouldn’t need to include this since I’m already in the pattern at this point, best thing would be to just sequence and give clearance. “Number 2 cleared for the option”
