Low visibility

That’s an image of me landing at a specific airport with low visibility but when I check the airport metar on infinite flight it says visibility is 2500 meters
I really do not understand does a 2500 meter visibility make the visibility during landing this poor ?

Hello! 2500 meters equals 2.5 km, which is a very low angle of view according to aviation standards. So it is very normal for it to look like this and it has this much impact. If you want, you can test it by reducing the visibility to 2km or 3km in solo mode.

Yes the lower the visibility the less you can see

Yeh. It’s about 2nm on app. You would expect to vaguely see the ground. BUT, here you have that hazy visibility with the setting sun adding to it.

Depending on airport, some METARS update faster than others, plus sometimes it’s an auto read. You can’t always take it as gospel and need to be prepared. A 2500m vis approach needs attention anyhow

Yes it’s considered low visibility, for me anything under 3000M is low

2NM is very low, and usually with high visibility, you would be like 30-40 seconds from landing if you were 2NM from the runway for example. VABB always stays like this though, unfortunately.
