Saw something interesting today. I was at school at lunch and I looked up and saw what appeared to be a grey wide body two engine aircraft flying very low it seemed. definitely under 10,000 feet and going the opposite direction of the nearest major airport. I live 45 miles from a major airport and was wondering if you guys knew why a plane would be flying so low.
Where was this?
45 miles North of DIA
This was a military aircraft do observation runs.
Prob a UA 772 climbing
Probably not… Why would a Millitary aircraft be doing observations near Denver?
Honesty who knows. If it was reconnaissance we don’t know.
I know I may sound like an idiot when I say this, but there are conspiracies about there being some secret government base near, and possibly under Denver International. I just wanted to put it out there, even though Im 99.9% sure its not possible. 😂 Probably just a United flight, as Denver is one of many hubs for United Airlines.
The conspiracy… 😂
I wonder where do the planes enter the “underground airbase” at 😂
But yes, most probably your friendly UAL B772 climbing to cruising altitude!
Heavy 777s are fast and low, it makes sense for them to be 40 miles away from DIA and still be climbing. The high nature of DIA doesn’t help anything.
