Some great airlines have been lost to mergers and bankruptcy. How many of these liveries do you remember?

I see Ansett ANA there too. The DC-9 with the red tail and the triangle arrow. I miss them :-(

The Ansett livery shown is on a DC-9 not a 727

Malév Hungarian Airlines was a great airline. It was Hungary’s International Airline, then Bankruptcy came, next all US operators ceased flights to Hungary. All we have now is WizzAir. I hope they’ll grow larger than A320s.

3rd one: BOAC

Where’s the TAA tail?

I didn’t see it I just remembered it

At first I was sad because ANA (Australian national airways) wasn’t on there but I then realised it is labelled on the Ansett DC-9 as Ansett-ANA

US Airways will always be loved by me! It was when I flew on one of their CRJs that got me interested in aviation.

Most of them deserve to be lost😂

I flew on a Sabena 74 to Belgium when I was a kid, even got a die cast of the plane. Wish I still had it somewhere.
