Looking for a Virtual Airline

Hiya, I’m looking for a virtual airline. Are there any recommendations? I play Infinite flight pretty much everyday but I’m only able to do flights that are about 4 hours long on weekdays.

I’m based in GMT+8.

Just drop some suggestions here and I’ll consider :))

Hey there!

I would take a look at the IFVARB database linked below and see what takes your fancy:

If you’re based in GMT+8, one of the Asia/Pacific VAs might be best suited when it comes to events, etc…

e.g.

Qantas Virtual Group
JAL Virtual Group

SNVA/Brussels Airlines always welcomes new people 😁 though for living in an area GMT+8 might be impractical. Still always welcome if you wanted to.

I‘d recommend Cathay Pacific Virtual. It matches your timezone perfectly, and a lot of short haul flights (Cathay + a lot of codeshare).

Hey @bridishBirb !
We are glad you are looking for a VA. As the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of newly IVARB approved Jazeera Airways, we would love for you to become our first pilot ;)! If you are interested, please PM me at @AviatorChina

I love how this turns into VAs advertising lol

Hey! @BennyBoy_Alpha gave some great suggestions, here are some of the most highly rated VAs on IF that match what you are looking for:

I’m choosing between JALVirtual and NewZealandVirtual.

Which is the better option? I’ve already applied for JALVirtual but I want to see if NewZealand is also a good option.

They are both wonderful VAs. I’m a pilot in JAL Virtual, and something I enjoy about it is it has a custom crew center, engaging staff members, and amazing internal events.

As for New Zealand Virtual, I’m not a pilot there but: they also have a very well done custom crew center, they’ve been around since 2021 meaning that they have been active for a long time, and they have some really cool codeshares.

It’s up to you! Either VA would be happy to have you.

Am I able to take the entrance form but have the option to not join the VA? Because I want to see a VA that would be suitable for me.

I’m also considering Qatar and ANA.

Hey, a VA pilot here!

If you search variety of routes, airlines and flight modes I’d recommend you visit @AF-KLM_VA profile, take a look on all different free-flight carriers (KLM, Air France, Transavia, Martinair…) and a lot of skyteam members. We are always a lot of people active if you also like that ;)

he is right you should join us
lots of different routes, long and short

your timezone fits as well as alot of our pilots are also in UTC+8

Is it VARB approved? I believe that’s what he is looking for.

Nope, as its loosly based off of Down East International a fictional airline from Canadian aviation mag from years ago.

Thai Virtual Airways is a lovely choice. Im with them and it’s a great start to a VA, they aren’t too strict and provide a great learning curve. They are starting to expand and new management is coming in so new things to come.
You can apply here: Thai Virtual Website
