Its been a minute since my last spotting post but im back. Although this airshow was a little while ago I am just now sharing some of these photos so enjoy. On September 14th Longmont finally hosted another airshow after a 6 year absence. Being my training airport I had to attend and made @RapidpilotKB tag along too. At this airshow all the performers were based out of this airfield which was also cool to learn about some of the local pilots! Thats enough text for now its time for some photos!
Ever wonder what a Bob Freemans cockpit looks like? Well here it is!
Just an hour later Bob Freeman was up in the air tumbling about!
Red Thunder flew a one and two ship demo which was very cool to see!
Turns out this car can actually fly! Dont believe me? Heres video of it arriving a few years ago: Link
As said earlier this is my training airport and I just so happened to find Hotel Delta sitting on the ramp.
L39 demo by a father and son
Colorado Commemorative Air Force Wing with their SNB5.
Although the F16s did not show like last time there was a C130 flyover!
A T6 Texan burning smoke on departure for its display.
Ending the day with one of my favorite shots ever! A PT17 is towed to its hangar while a aircraft takes off. Also note the skydiver above the taking off aircrafts prop.
