I would recommend trying to reduce your graphic settings and turning down your display brightness. This will help increase the longevity of your battery life.

I would say it may be your charger is not putting out enough power to keep up

Which version of the iPad Pro? I have the 4th gen 12.9 inch iPad Pro, and I have no issues whatsoever.
I pad pro thrid gen . No issues still recently. I suspect 18w apple charger can’t keep up
I think you should get another charger. The charger you have has probably deteriorated because you have been using it for a while.

If you’ve had no issue till recently, and it’s an issue of degradation in performance rather than an abrupt failure, first guess might be battery age. They start to degrade after so many charge cycles. In this case the game power consumption plus increased (aged) battery charge load may exceed your charger’s power output.

I’m going to try a 65w charger. Fingers crossed to keep up with IF demand :)

Yeah the iPad pro needs a 30W or better for fast charging so 65W should do great.
