I was wondering 💭

Anyone else who wish for a long press deleting shortcuts in ATC mode?

Would be cool to get rid of some in case of r/w change or misclick

Like:

Long press allows to:

  • remove
  • move up
  • move down

Please vote 🙏

This idea would be super practical as I often find myself getting annoyed if I make a small misclick and have a wrong command on my shortcuts list!

While we are at it…if we could pre load them also. Example using 4L at JFK, you already know you will be constantly saying cross 31L… adding that to shortcuts without having to send to aircraft would be nice for preparing to control. Or saving a preferred taxi route.

Need this ASAP!!! Also, ability to change the frequencies on the frequency shortcuts or if it auto updates. It sucks when controllers use different frequencies during a controller change. Since, you can no longer send people to the new frequency and if you attempt to use the shortcut it sends them to a ghost frequency.

I would like to express the necessity of approving the aforementioned feature as it is integral to enhancing operational efficiency. The addition of this functionality would address current limitations and significantly improve IFATC user experience . As such, I respectfully request that consideration be given to approve this feature, as it would not only meet the needs of stakeholders but also align with our broader operational objectives. 👨‍🏫
