It was only a short 34 minute internal flight on the expert server today from London Heathrow (England, UK) to Manchester (England, UK) on British Airways flight BA1386 but still an enjoyable one. Soaring over England’s green and pleasant land in a well used 18 year old Airbus A319-131, we barely had time to hit our cruise height of 18,000 feet before making a descent into Manchester on this daily operated flight.
A humid day out there today and the countryside is well watered and healthy after a solid week of nothing but rain and spells of intermittent sunshine between. A refreshing little flight in comparison to the medium to long and longer haulers of late. It’s a lovely aircraft to fly and a little rocket - the punch from those 2 International Aero V2522-A5 engines is silky and acceleration even at medium thrust is superb. Instant response and agility made this the perfect bird for the job. Nice build.
