I know there’s another one but it’s old and it was before global.
Now that we have global I think it would be good to have planes like the concord and the blackbird.
The blackbird has two characteristics that I find interesting.
1: the obvious one speed… Imagine flying a plane at Mach 3,4. You could go from New York to London in no time!
1h54 minutes!! Compared to the concord that takes 2h52 minutes and the 747’s 6hours!
2: the altitude… just like the u2, the blackbird can fly really high: 80’000fts just imagine the scenery from up there it would just be amazing!!
The blackbird is a really amazing plane. The engeniers had lots of problems to solve. For example heat. The cockpit of the plane would benn heated up to 500*f if there wasn’t a good air conditioning system. Would love to have that at home!!!
