Lockheed L-1011 "Tristar"

I want IF to have a 3 engine plane, however I do not want the rushed McDac Dc-10, so this is the aircraft that I want. What do you think?

I want a three engine plane too! Make mine either a Ford or a Fokker, Aunte Ju will do.

Why not a five engine 747

747s have 4, not 5 engines.

Boeing 727 or HS.121 Trident if you’re talking trijets in general.

If you’re talking widebody trijets, I’m more interested in a DC-10/MD-11 though. Not that I don’t want a TriStar…

Long live the DC-9!

These are the operators. Many unique liveries, and I disagree with @Boeing707 about the DC-10, but still, a DC-9 would be cool to experience. “Long live the DC-9!” as @Boeing707 would say.

i dont mind any of them B727,MD11 & L10-11 Tristar 500 also as Max said a Fokker or Falcon would be cool

So does the DC-10: List of McDonnell Douglas DC-10 operators - Wikipedia

Anyway, time will tell which trijet is added :grinning:.

Lol as I would say…

Long live the DC-9!

747s can have 5 engines :) look it up

As far as any trijet is concerned the 727 was the most recent. It was also the most popular with ~1850 built. This and the fact that some still fly would lead me to believe that the devs are more likely to implement this first. On the other hand the L-1011 fills a completely different role.

But who could forget the iconic look of wing mounted engines and an S-Duct?

There are still some operational Lockheed L-1011s out there

How cool would it be if they did a L-1011 specialty livery? Kind of like Sophia for the 747. My vote is for the Orbital ATK Stargazer W/Pegasus rocket…

I think the MD-11 needs to be put in the game first.

Plus, the l-1011 was operated by TWA and Transat, unlike the Dc-10 and Md-11.
