SHORT STORY

The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is a high-performance, supersonic single-engine aircraft, originally developed for the United States Air Force (USAF) as an interceptor fighter. It was one of the Century Series planes and was in service with the USAF from 1958 until 1969, continuing his operational career in the Air National Guard until he was barred in the United States in 1975. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) until 1994 it had a small mixed fleet of various versions of F-104, used for tests in supersonic flight regimes and in support of space programs.

WHY I WANT THIS IN INFINITE FLIGHT

The F-104 is one of my favourite fighter. Adding this in IF will be great. And also will add another fighter in the aircraft list. The F-104 was a very important aircraft in the story of military aviation of my country and will be an honour to fly it in Infinite Flight.

SOME VIDEOS ABOUT THE ZIP-104

This is very cool… Gilles Villenueve, a F1 pilot, against an Italian F104

I think you should provide us more information on why it is such a good fighter jet 😉👍

But sorry, I would rather have the f35 or f16 reworked 😅

You see, the F-104 is a classic. If we could get this, along with maybe the F-80 or F-86 that would be great. I’m out of votes, but I support this being added!

Me too, but who knows, maybe the dev next year will do a massive update with fighters rework and could add a new fighter

I would love that, give the military aircraft some love! Add a fighter or two, and rework the ones that are already in the sim. Now I know this isn’t a quick project, and it could take years on end, but it would be great to see IF’s military fleet get some love.

I know it may look dated, but could you imagine flying in a cockpit like this in IF? It would be awesome!

Yeah it’s a very cool cockpit

The F86 Sabre could be also a great new aircraft. It would not only bring a jet from the first years of jet fighters in IF but also the possibility of creating the Italian Frecce Tricolori Virtuali, which used the F86E.
