Lockheed C-130 “Fat Albert”
Blue Angels “Fat Albert”
The Blue Angels use a United States Marine Corps Lockheed C-130T Hercules, nicknamed " Fat Albert ", for their logistics, carrying spare parts, equipment, and to carry support personnel between shows.
Blue Angels Fat Albert practice flight video:
The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is an American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built originally by Lockheed (now Lockheed Martin). Capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings, the C-130 was originally designed as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft.
The Blue Angels is the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron which was initially formed in 1946, making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team in the world, after the French Patrouille de France formed in 1931.
Why do I want this livery?
- It looks good
- The Blue Angels livery has already been requested, so we might as well have the full set.
- This is a nice livery nonetheless.
( Thanks to @Bryant_Lol as I sort of copied his request template :P )
