Description
Hello everyone!
It appears that corrections when overshoot may sometimes become excessive.
I will describe the situation when the problem occurred.
Server: Solo
Wind: 263° at 12kts
Location: RJBB Kansai International Airport
ILS Z RWY 24L Approach
Aircraft: A330-300
I reduced speed to 160kts on BB450 and maintained that speed.
As shown in the image below, on the next BB451, there is a 90-degree turn. I overshot it slightly, but the Correction Attempted by LNAV was excessive, causing severe meandering that prevented me from returning to the correct course.
I used to the same approach with the B757-200, and no problems occurred.
However when I tried again with the A330-300, it happened again.
I think many other airports also have approaches requiring sharp turns.
