Livery Update Enquiry

Greetings. This isn’t a feature request. Just more so of an enquiry.

I just noticed recently that the current available livery on the Ryanair 737 was updated with the split scimitar winglets without having to go through a new livery request (it was updated discreetly on the existing livery).

Seeing as the BA A35K has the red tips on the flap track fairings. Wouldn’t it be possible to also update current liveries on the A359 that also has those red tips visible on the flap track fairings on those liveries?

It wouldn’t take long to update too since it was updated super fast on the BA A35K would it?

The A359 liveries that should have them would include:

-Malaysia Airlines A359

-Singapore Airlines A359

-China Airlines A359

Also wanna add that the Continental United B738 should get split scimitars as well!

Maybe vote if there are feature requests for the same or else asking mods you can make them!

Would something as small as the red tips justify an entire feature request? It’s not like the entire flap track fairing has to be remodeled does it?

I think they already know feature requests exist

The point being questioned was more the technical side of it, since the Ryanair update showed that existing liveries can be silently updated already without needing entirely new requests.

Anyway, that’s just my take on it. Would be really cool to see these minor details implemented though.

But my point here was, the request existed hence was implemented.. maybe. So just added that this might bring it their attention.

For the red tip on A359, it’s because all the A359 wings share the same texture file (except some recent ones), and adding the red tip would affect the entire fleet. To properly do so, the devs have to split the files and that causes more mess.
The A35K used different files for wing textures from the beginning to avoid such inconveniences.

Updated Kuwait Airways B777-300ER

The B77W of Kuwait Airways was repainted with the white logo shortly after the IF devs added the Kuwait Airways B77W livery. I hope you will vote for this stunning bird!

Yes! They updated the KU B77W a short while ago and added the “KUWAIT” Belly text, but I wish they went all the way and made the logo on the tail white. @OCD_X7
