I had a simple question for people involved in the livery making process, because I have noticed that some have mistakes in some liveries.
What references do you guys use? Is it photos or do you use an actual colour palette for it?
I have noticed some errors on various aircraft (i.e the Virgin Atlantic A330 and A340) and just wanted to know about how these things are carried out.

Depending on availability, all sorts of reference material is used.
Some color differences are caused by the current graphics engine.
One reason I’m so looking forward to the new one. :)
But sometimes things get missed or overlooked.
The artists and testers are human after all. :)
