So I’ve pondered about this for a while and noticed there are 3 kinds of livery requests…
- Normal (existing)
- Special (one-time event like A346 F1 livery for example)
- Vintage (former liveries and former airlines)
So I believe the devs would most probably prioritize the first and probably never bother about the last?
I’ve seen many livery request discussions that goes “oh they no longer have it” but the probable point is people want to fly old liveried planes too… I don’t mean deliberate retro though it wouldn’t make any difference actually lol
(I’m not requesting anything, just say for example)
If I request for a/an
- Airbus A320-200 (Silkair) - Group 1
- Airbus A330-300 (Singapore Airlines) = Group 1
- Airbus A380-800 (SIA SG50 livery) = Group 2
- Boeing 737-800 (Silkair) = Group 1
- Boeing 747-200 (Singapore Airlines) = Group 3
- Boeing 747-400 (Singapore Airlines) = Group 3
- Boeing 747-F (Singapore Airlines) = Group 1
- Boeing 757-200 (Singapore Airlines) = Group 3
- Boeing 777-200 (Singapore Airlines) = Group 1 > Group 3
- Boeing 777-200ER (Singapore Airlines) = Group 1 > Group 3
- Boeing 777-200ER (Scoot) = Group 1 > Group 3
- Boeing 777-300 (Singapore Airlines) = Group 1
- Boeing 787-9 (Scoot) = Group 1
So after reading all these, you must be wondering what am I even talking about… My point here is actually to understand if developers prioritize requests — can be like what I stated or can be their own style of course, but I’m just stating how it would be like…
I’m sure Matt and Philippe are overwhelmed by the influx of new requests every week or maybe even every few days or so! Lol
