I believe it disappears. I’ve always thought of it as sending it to a junkyard to be scrapped or something.

It would be a really neat feature if it stayed visible but slowly got to looking more and more weathered. It could even be a super simple model with no interior or anything, just a shell, sitting there. Would definitely make certain airports like Tucson look more like real life! I just think that would be so cool!

I agree, but I do think the devs would have to assess the volume of retired planes in a certain timeframe first, that way they can balance the weathering time so the “junkyard” airports don’t overflow or anything.

For the sake of realism, you should have flown it to LFBT, where many A380 are still being dismantled today:
It also is where the Daher factory is located. They build nice and smaller planes!

I think some qualifications will be opened in the next version. I think the official should focus more on debugging and releasing the new version. Of course, I also hope to quickly join this organization and play this project. Because my friends have all obtained qualifications, but it seems that there are relatively few people who have obtained qualifications in Japan’s airspace

Can’t wait for the Airbus House Livery A21N to join AIBVA Live in the coming weeks! That traffic at EGLL is a little too insane for me! Haha! So, figured a little time at home (LFBO) would be good!
A359 and A339 are the only aircraft in the fleet at the moment. A338s are other Live users!

The staff have made it clear that their criteria for joining live is not publicly known. One thing is for sure, they aren’t letting people in just based on how long they’ve been around, or how long they’ve been on the waiting list. Also, your IFC account is only 6 years old… really at this point it’s just a numbers game. There are over 25,000 applicants, and only 2,500 accepted so far. You’re definitely in the majority right now.
