I have a question for those who actually use live now. I have live but no invite yet. I have joined a nice VA in order to get invited at some point, but what worries me now is time: would live prevent me from doing things according to my own rythm? I prepare a flight one evening, and do the taxi, takeoff and climb the morning after, a step climb later in the day, landing the next morning… I mean, if I have to start all from a hangar, get the aircraft to a gate, prepare my flight, I worry my daily IF time will not be adequate. Thanks for any feedback!

Hi :man_raising_hand:
I cannot speak for the big VA’s. I bought one more lift, created my private organization and got myself one aircraft as a charter airline (Lufthansa Charter).
Those aircrafts in Live stay, where they have been left, except for leaving them on a high demand parking stand. But when an airplane was parked at a low demand parking stand with air bridges, you don’t need to do anything else as usual.
Planes in Live have schedules. I write my schedules myself, the way I like it and fly my A359 as a charter plane according to my schedules. In a big VA, different aircrafts have different schedules and some schedules have a fixed timeline, but schedules can also be set up without a fixed date or time (timeless). So then you would focus on those aircraft with schedules, that fit your personal daily life best. But as I am not in a VA, I cannot say, how certain aircrafts are assigned to certain pilots and who gets which plane to fly there.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Maybe it would be best for me to buy a lift (since I have only one) to get my own tbm (is that the price for a single aircraft?) and keep flying for the VA (which I enjoy) in the normal mode?

I have seen that I could invest my only lift in that VA, but I am confused now what the best use of that lift is in my case…

That’s why I bought myself one more lift and created my own organization. I didn’t want to depend on any invitations, nor did I want to feel any pressure of being active, when I have to adjust to the schedules others have set up.

This way, I am free to fly when I want and set up my schedules accordingly.
Mostly I am flying now parallel: One aircraft is almost 24/7 in the air, flying on Free Flight Mode. While flying on AP+, I prepare the next flight plan with SimBrief, I land, let my passengers disembark and all cargo/ catering exchanged. After a while I take off again to my next destination and all starts again. My Lufthansa Charter I let it stay parked here and there and fly it as I feel like without any pressure.

Personally for me it’s the best solution and I don’t need to feel obliged to anyone or any VA.

Yeah. With one lift which you get as a regular Pro subscriber and one additional lift purchased, you can create your personal organization and get one aircraft.
As I fly mainly long haul, I also took the A359, although I would have loved the A35K, but to me it still seems too faulty to me. Too many issues I read about problems with excessive fuel consumption on AP+. So when the A35K improves, I might change it one day, but for now, I am absolutely happy with the A359.

A big thank you. I am gonna check my savings and get that lift (and TBM) very soon I hope

Quick question about Autopilot+: If I leave an LIVE flight running on Autopilot+ in the background and open a second session in Free Flight, can I put that second flight on Autopilot+ as well, or does Infinite Flight only allow one active Autopilot+ save at a time?"

Just one at a time right now. You’ll have to either land and finish your second flight, or log off and lose it, before you can take up your first flight again.

N.B. this doesn’t apply to flights in LIVE mode. Any flights in LIVE using AP+ do not count as your one AP+ flight. The modes operate separately.

This mean I can have AP plus on the free flight and live running simultaneously on AP ±

Yes. This is because all live aircraft are able to be flown by anyone in the org, so to have them count as certain users’ AP+ flight would block anyone in an org from using AP+ if a flight in the org used it.

Has anyone who pays for IF through Apple App Store been given access to Live?

Me. I don’t think that has any bearing on admission.

I’d be willing to guess that over a third of the IF users worldwide pay through the App Store, seeing as the split seems to be pretty 50-50 between Apple and android, and the website payment feature is so new.

Stillll waiting for itttt!!! :upside_down_face:

When were u invited?
