Hi, I had 2 hours left on an 11 hour flight to Tokyo, however, the live server disconnected so I was unable to join back. Even after turning internet on and off it still didn’t change anything.
This is quite disappointing as this isn’t the first time it has happened to me and I see that this has been a community wide problem for a while.
As much as I love this app, it’s also quite frustrating as this issue loses my motivation to fly and, to be quite frank, discourages me from continuing my subscription to Infinite Flight.
Hi, I’ve also experienced this multiple times and it’s very annoying. The most recent time this has occurred was when I was doing a group flight from KJFK - WSSS and I had a short amount of time left, bare in mind I was flying for around 16 hours. I was very frustrated and I understand your pain. This problem needs to be solved ASAP.

Thanks for your response. I 100% agree with you. Something does need to be done to resolve this issue as I see a lot of people experience the same thing.
This has happened to me as well. On my first-ever cross-country flight in expert (KLAX to KJFK), it crashed seconds away from touching down. I was 100 feet off the ground. This issue needs to be fixed ASAP because this discouraged me from flying that flight for about 3-4 months before I attempted a medium-haul like that. I would recommend looking towards the sky when you fly, so it doesn’t have to load all the terrain. Clear your scenery cache before takeoff, and restart your device. Hope this helps.
This just happened to me about an hour ago and again this past week. Not sure what’s going on. Not cool with all the preparation that goes into a flight
Hey folks, thanks for all the feedback. Usually, most cases of live server disconnections come down to:
an interruption to your network connection of more than a few minutes (such as your wifi router restarting overnight)
your iPad being placed into Paused state (this can be caused by the blocking iOS alerts which can’t be disabled…)
an incoming call / alarm that could place your iPad into paused state
I mostly wanted to let you know we’re working on longer-term improvements to this issue, which include better reconnection handling (in a way that does not disrupt other players in a busy live environment). We don’t have a timeframe to share but it’s definitely high on our radar.
In the meantime, I would suggest you keep an eye on those main sources of disconnections and see if anything may apply to you.
