Little Rock for lunch.

Yeah, I was meaning not this particular airport. Some other airports have both A380s and Cessnas.

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing! :)

You’d be surprised how fast a 380 can stop… The length isn’t the main problem here, strength and possibly width are.

Obviously a difference between actual necessary runway and official- they need to compensate for all reverses, partial brakes, and spoiler and still be able to stop from the end of the TDZ. And of course you need to be able to stop after an engine failure at a reasonable speed

Published landing distance is very often longer than actual landing distance, as they are determined without the use of thrust reversers (if I remember good).

I don’t remember the exact figure but at MLW, a 380 requires roughly 2000m to stop safely.

Really cool pics. I also think I’m gona go broke trying to get my ppl

You guys should really search for financial help if you can’t afford a PPL on your own. That’s what I did!

Nice pictures!

When I first saw the topic I thought someone ate a rock:-/

Thanksz Appriciate it

Thanks it was a fun flight

Flagging has nothing too do with my post. Runways are too short… the width and structure of the runways and taxiways are not meant for the much weight. And also don’t have anywhere too park them as were just a regional airport with 12 small gates. So yes we can’t handle the a380

I definitely wasn’t questioning the fact that your airport can’t handle an A380… I was only stating that runway length isn’t the main problem here.

Oh. Okay, probably when most airports can handle it with an 8200 foot runway ours can’t
