Little Green Diamond

Does the little green diamond that appears on the altitude tape after you assign an ILS runway to NAV1 have a name?

It’s the glideslope

Yes, it marks the glideslope, but does the diamond itself have a name?

The green lozenge is called the “glide path indicator” and the the scale it’s attached to is called the ILS glide slope deviation.
A full scale deflection of the glide path indicator is 0.7° or more above or below the glide slope.

On a 5 dot ILS display, if there is a 2.5 dot “fly up” on the indication then this is the maximum safe deviation below the glide slope.
