I believe Virgin Atlantic retired the A340 aswell. Double-check on that though, because I’m just remembering from the top of my head.

Not yet confirmed, still being considered.

Did they confirm this? I think it’s still under review. They also retired the 3 remaining A340-300s as well, in addition to some A319s.

@Bryan4558 Yeah the A340-600s were accelerated by a few months.

There’s also Corsair’s 3 remaining 747-400s that were retired recently because of COVID-19.

From what I read, Air France retired one A380 in January (before COVID, but I’m including it as it was rather recent) two A380’s have been sent to Tarbes airport (France), and another two A380’s have been sent to Teruel (Spain). This is where I got the total of 5x Airbus A380’s from.

Ah, they were placed in Tarbes/Teruel for storage. Early retirement’s still being considered.

UPDATE: Air France has officially announced the retirement of its remaining A380’s leaving none left in service (10 total).
