Limit the #developer category to Infinite Flight contributors

Over the past weeks and months, the #developer category has become clogged with non-contributors’ posts. Most of these have been downright pointless and annoying. I was recently discussing this with some fellow airport editors, and we agreed that the category should be limited. I know that the developer category used to be limited, and I can totally see why it was removed at the time. But now it isn’t necessary for it to be public. I know that most users here won’t support this change, but for the sake of contributors I think it needs to be limited.
What are your thoughts on this?

I agree with you 100% here.

I’ve been thinking in this for a long time, probably shortly after joining the team. The team is tired and exhausted with dealing with people who are continuously asking for airports to be done. Now that Global Flight is getting closer, the issue just keeps growing and growing.

If people could understand all the things we have been saying in the recent months, we probably would not be thinking in requesting a restriction for #developer to people who are unfamiliar with airport editing.

Please please yes. This would be so useful.

Only airport editors and 3rd party developers would be allowed to post here right?

That’s what I was thinking.

That’s basically my idea, only these people will have the rights to post in there.

If the limitation is not being implemented, atleast moderate the category more strictly please :)

I would personally like this to be limited again but it depends on what FDS and the others want. I will discuss. Thanks for the feedback.
