Limiting frame rate means to lower it. It slows down the number of frames per second displayed on your screen. It could lower quality a bit, but save battery.
So it’s advisable not to lower it though it will drain the battery more…

Let me put it very very simply :P
Limit Frame Rate = Your Device is not working full power
Unlimited Frame Rate = Your Device is working it’s a** off.
Usually in games there is a “Half” option, where the Frame Rate is limited to a high number.
Hope this helps.
You just said if you lower it it’ll become more laggy![quote=“Captain_Skywalker, post:5, topic:28165”]
but if Infinite Flight lags quite a bit for you, it’s also recommended you lower i

I find this statements contradicting!
The video quality might be a bit lower. But your device’s processor won’t be working as hard, so it might make it less laggy. A few tradeoffs. I recommend just trying it and seeing what’s best for you.
Thanks! now that i understand it I think its best if I try it out as you suggested

Can the developers answer what rate it’s capped at if you enable that option?
I believe its 60 when not limited and 30 when limited.
30 isn’t too bad in terms of lagginess, but a lot of devices do 30 on a good day, the battery savings of that cap might be limited on lower end devices then.
