Light Aircraft

Hi everyone! I have a question!
What aircraft are accepted when in ATIS it says No Light Aircraft Accepted at this time.

Thank you,
Mason

I believe it’s nothing smaller than a CRJ or any GA aircraft

Hey,

All aircraft but a C172, SR22, and CC19 are allowed when this is broadcast.

Thanks,
Patrick

Oops accidentally deleted, I was asking about the TBM

Hey,

The TBM (and, at that, the C208 and Spitfire) are not considered light aircraft. Yes, they can land, as such.

Edit: See the below reply from @TaipeiGuru for the most correct information!

Thanks,

Ok good to know thanks 👍🏽👍🏽

In addition to Patrick’s reply, the P38 and Spitfire are also classified as light. See the following post for more information.

A light aircraft that has a MTOW of less than 12,500lbs

This is what I found.

Light aircraft include the XCub, C172, SR22, Spitfire, and the P38. The TBM930 and C208 may be used without restriction in a commercial environment
