Level 1 Violation

I just received a Level 1 violation at LFPO near NOOX1 (or a similar point). WHY? I was taxiing from my parking position to Runway 25—which was open and which I had previously announced—when the violation occurred, allegedly because I failed to heed ATIS. However, there was no information in the ATIS, and there was no Ground ATC present. I do not agree with this!

That’s oddly strange. It would be great if you provide the replay tho and to have a better understanding of and get an explanation to why this occurred

Interesting. A level 1 violation is a system violation that is automatically given for breaking certain parameters like speed. Are you sure you didn’t get a level 2 or 3 violation? Also, what server were you on, and were you overspeeding when you got the violation?

I was at Orly Approach at this time and I’m the one who issued you a violation .

Was your call sign French Bee 880 Super? If that’s the case, you received a Level 2 Violation for Failure to follow ATIS. In fact, you were taxiing to Runway 25, yet the ATIS indicated that the departure runway was Runway 24.

Sorry, then that was clearly my fault. But speaking more generally—and apart from the taxiing issue—I just noticed something while on the approach to Heathrow: I received ATC instructions that didn’t make sense. I was directed onto a 360-degree heading, but I was far too high on the approach and would have needed to change course again for the landing on Runway 27L. I was cleared to descend from 6,000 to 4,000 feet and slow to 220 knots, only to be told to speed up to 230 knots a short while later.

Immediately after that, I got a notification telling me to follow the rules and ATC instructions—even though I was already on the correct course. That situation would have forced me to abort the approach. What I’m really trying to ask is: why do we get instructions like that—ones that don’t fit the situation or simply aren’t feasible? This has happened to me several times now and this isn’t fun this way.
