G’day ladies and lads, I’ve got a question, when I look at the gates on my screen I see that there are things like
E - Airline - Gate
D - Cargo - Gate
It is not the terminal because it says that above, so what is it?

Hey there,
In the gate tags the gate name is shown in the first column followed by the aircraft size in the second line. Aircraft size can range from A-F.
how convenient!
do you have a page explaining the A-F sizing?
Hey there @The_flight_sim_guy!
Luckily, we have just the link you are looking for! :)
On IFATC.org (under the Airports Category), you can type in your selected airport, click the link that says gate information, and a big list with all the helpful information will pop up.
Say you were planning a flight from New York’s John F Kennedy Intl, you would go to this section of our website:
IFATC Info - Airport Gates
Hope this helps, cheers mate!
Happy flying and happy FNF!
From,
Daniel
