To kick things off, here’s mine: I recently completed a scenic flight from Queenstown (NZQN) to Sydney (YSSY) in the Qantas A320. The views of the Southern Alps were absolutely breathtaking, and the approach into Sydney was smooth as silk.

Nice topic, 2 years ago, at Zürich Kloten, i just landed and was exiting the runway, however another A220-300 was coming from my left ,i decided to let him pass, by switch on/off my landing light, giving a signal. But somehow he stopped and did the same signal to me.
I resisted by continuing my signal, then he continued. I passed and turned in front of him.
Unfortunately i don’t have his callsign, but this man will stay in my mind for sure.
It was an amazing gesture, i loved the interaction
My favorite moment was the first time I was on expert server, and I did some touch and goes at an airport. I will never forget how nice the ATC was that day. :)
That’s awesome! Those are some really solid routes—especially KJFK-YSSY, such a rewarding journey! Do you have a favorite aircraft for these long hauls, or do you switch it up based on the route? 😊
