Leicester F.C. Owners Helicopter Crash

Leicester F.C. owners helicopter crashes in a ball of flames outside the clubs stafium

Thoughts and prayers to all those affected
Little is known as of yet, we hope and pray for the best 🙏

UPDATE:
The inevitable but incredibly sad news that all on board have perished was confirmed tonight. The owner of the club Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was confirmed to be one of 5 passengers on board. A man that spearheaded the unthinkable - helping Leicester City become Premier League champions. For those that are knowledgeable of english football, this was an amazing feat - the word amazing does not do this piece of history justice. A very dark day for the footballing and aviation world - two of the greatest passions a lot of us have. Thoughts and prayers to all affected tonight.

I wouldn’t class any aviation incident resulting in the likely death of any individual small

Please delete/advise me to delete if that’s a rule of the forum

Also sorry I’m not sure how to move this to the relevant topic, please advise me if you know how to

Thanks

Really hope everyone is ok. Looks like quite a violent fire and crash. Luckily the emergency services were already nearby due to the match so they had a very swift response time. Once again hope that everyone is Ok, but it sure does look serious.

I am personally still surprised that: “It is not known if Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha [owner] was in the helicopter at the time.”.

I think the delay in any kind of announcement signals the inevitable

Hope and pray 🙏

I wouldn’t say this is a small accident. Sure, it might not be a dash 8 or a319 but the owner of one of England’s major football clubs and a Thai billionaire was involved here. This accident has a lot of significance to football fans around England and the rest of world.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Leicester City family🙏🏾

It has been confirmed that the owner was on the helicopter at the time.

Witnesses have also claimed that the engines stopped (as the noise from the engines cut out and just stopped)

I watched that game live, and I actually watched some chilling footage on that helicopter having landed in the middle of the pitch before taking off. It does not look good at all, but nothing is known yet, so let us hope for the best.
