So in real life I know after you do pattern work at a particular airport and you want to go back to the airport you came from you will tell ATC you want to pick up a clearance. But in IF what would you do? “use the request departure to the…” button?
Request departure in the direction of where you are headed if you are on the tower Frequency. If you are handed to approach I believe that’s when you request flight following.
